Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 21, 2026
This policy explains what information Cura Quote LLC ("CuraQuote", "we", "us") collects through curaquote.com and the CuraQuote platform, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Who this policy covers
CuraQuote serves two groups, and the way we handle data differs between them:
- Consumers who request a long-term care insurance quote or complete our pre-qualification questionnaire. We collect your information in order to produce a quote and connect you with a licensed advisor.
- Insurance brokers, agencies and advisors who subscribe to the platform. For the client records an agency stores in CuraQuote, the agency is the controller of that data and CuraQuote acts as its service provider. Those records are governed by the agency's own privacy practices as well as this policy.
Information we collect
Information you give us directly:
- Contact details — name, email address, phone number, and state of residence.
- Quote inputs — date of birth or age, marital or partnership status, spouse details where applicable, and the coverage options you select (benefit amount, benefit period, inflation protection, riders).
- Pre-qualification answers — responses about general health and medical history used to determine, before an application is submitted, whether you are likely to qualify for coverage. These answers are encrypted at rest and are visible only to the advisor assigned to you and their agency.
- Account and billing information for subscribing agencies. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor and are never stored on CuraQuote servers.
- Messages, appointment requests, and documents you send through the platform.
Information collected automatically:
- Standard server and security logs, including IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps, retained for security monitoring and abuse prevention.
- Email delivery events (delivered, opened, bounced) for messages sent through the platform, so advisors can see whether a message reached its recipient.
Information from third parties: if you were referred through an agency's website widget, an imported list, or a partner integration, we receive the contact and quote details that referral supplied.
How we use information
- To generate insurance quotes and prepare the quote documents you receive.
- To route you to a licensed advisor and let that advisor follow up with you.
- To schedule appointments and, where an advisor has connected Zoom, create meeting links.
- To operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the platform.
- To bill subscribing agencies and manage their accounts.
- To send transactional messages, and marketing messages you can opt out of at any time.
- To comply with insurance, tax, and other legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How we share information
We disclose information only in these circumstances:
- With licensed advisors and their agency — the advisor assigned to you receives the information needed to prepare your quote and advise you.
- With insurance carriers — the coverage parameters needed to return a premium quote for the plan you asked about.
- With service providers that operate the platform on our behalf, listed below. Each is bound by contract to use the data only to provide its service to us.
- For legal reasons — to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our terms, or protect the rights and safety of users and the public.
- In a business transfer — if CuraQuote is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy continuing to apply.

Zoom integration
Advisors may connect a Zoom account so that booked appointments automatically include a video meeting link. When an advisor authorizes the integration, CuraQuote stores an access token, a refresh token, and the Zoom account's user ID, email address and display name — nothing more. We use them solely to create and manage meeting links for that advisor's appointments.
CuraQuote does not access, record, store or process the contents of any Zoom meeting.
An advisor can disconnect Zoom at any time from Settings, or by removing the CuraQuote app in the Zoom App Marketplace. Either action immediately and permanently deletes the stored tokens and Zoom profile details from our database. When removal happens through the Zoom Marketplace, Zoom notifies us and we confirm the deletion back to Zoom.
Data retention
We keep quote and lead records for as long as the associated agency maintains an active account, and afterwards only as long as needed for legal, regulatory, tax, or dispute resolution purposes. Pre-qualification health responses are deleted on request, or when the associated lead record is deleted. Security logs are retained on a short rolling window. Zoom credentials are deleted immediately on disconnection.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted by role, and database-level row security isolates each agency's records so one agency can never read another's. Sensitive fields, including pre-qualification responses, receive additional application-level encryption. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information using measures appropriate to its sensitivity.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas and a growing number of other states — you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to obtain a portable copy, and to appeal a decision we make about such a request. You will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To make a request, email [email protected]. We will verify your identity before acting, and we will respond within the period required by applicable law. If an agency using CuraQuote holds your record, we may forward your request to that agency as the controller of the data.
You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any such message. Transactional messages about a quote or appointment you requested will still be sent.
Children
CuraQuote is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice.
